THERE IS STILL TIME TO ENTER the JUMP FOR JAMAICA TALENT CONTEST – presented in association with Jambana and G98.7. Dancers, DJs, poets, rappers and singers who feel they have what it takes can Jump into the Spotlight and compete to win a chance to: Meet music industry insiders • Sign with a top management team • Get their record on radio • Perform live for the world on Jamaica’s Independence Day • Win BIG prizes
This is a worldwide competition. Entrants must:
Buy the “Jump for Jamaica” song – proof of purchase required for entry
Learn the “Jump” (dance) via instructional online jump videos or voice their own lyrics to the instrumental version, available on iTunes.
Register at jamaica50.ca/contest
Make and upload videos of themselves to their favourite social media site and provide links to their video upload
Encourage friends to “like” their video
Be available live or online via cam for the final judging at JAMBANA on August 6 at 6:00 p.m.

Contest finals will be broadcast/streamed from center-stage at the Independence Sinting at Jambana, Downsview Park on August 6. The winner will be selected via audience vote. Fans, friends and followers are invited to JUMP FOR JAMAICA through special social media activities. Visitors can interact, follow and comment on videos, vlogs and blogs. All social media platforms are registered with the global username: jamaica50canada.
