GraceKennedy has a summer assignment for Canadians.  Help name the Grace Coconut Water beach wagon.  The naming contest is open to all Canadians from coast-to-coast.  Entries must be submitted using an online entry form from the company's website.
The winning entry will receive a year’s supply of no sugar added, no pulp coconut water (one case of 24 cans a month).  The nectar, which continues to grow in popularity has become a favourite sports drink for recovery and an electrolyte replacement for Canadians.
“Internally, our van wrapped in coconut water has been affectionately known as ‘Sunshine’.  Considering the van will be interacting with Canadians at several events throughout the summer, we thought it was only fitting that they come up with a name for our newest fleet member,” said Stefan Atton, Marketing Manager of GraceKennedy (Ontario) Inc.

GraceKennedy group presents: Coconut water

Coo-coo for coconut water!

Second only to water, coconut water is the purest liquid.  The nectar, which continues to grow in popularity has become a favourite sports drink for recovery and an electrolyte replacement for Canadians.  Many consider coconut water to be the fastest growing juice as an alternative sports nutrition product.
Coconut water, tapped from young coconuts before the flesh matures, seems to be the beverage of choice for sports athletes and health nuts.  2009 marked the turning point for coconut water as its popularity reached an all-time high.
Coconut water has 15-times the electrolytes found in most sports drinks. And it's a natural food, not a manmade product like a sports drink. Most sports drinks have a lot of added sugars like high fructose corn syrup, preservatives and artificial coloring. But plain coconut water contains naturally occurring sugar and minimal ingredients. It's also much lower in calories.
